Delete your fygit account
fygit (by SarvLab) lets you delete your account and its associated data at any time. You can do it yourself inside the app, or ask us to do it for you by email. Both routes permanently remove the same data.
Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open the fygit app.
- Tap Account (top-right of the home screen).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and saved data are removed immediately.
Or ask us to delete it
Email hello@fygit.app from the address tied to your account (or tell us your fygit display name) with the subject "Delete my account." We complete the deletion within 30 days and email you to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your account record and sign-in identity (Apple / Google).
- Your email address and display name, if you signed in.
- Every bill you've saved, including its items, totals, and claims.
- Your subscription record held by fygit.
What is kept, and for how long
- Receipt photos: never stored — the image is parsed and discarded at scan time, so there is nothing to delete.
- Anonymous, non-identifying records: a one-way salted hash used to enforce one free trial per device, and content-free crash and analytics logs, may be retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention. These cannot be tied back to you and are then automatically removed.
- Your subscription with the app store: deleting your fygit account does not cancel an active Google Play or App Store subscription. Cancel it in Google Play → Subscriptions (Android) or Apple ID → Subscriptions (iOS) so it does not renew.
- Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. tax or fraud records) are retained only as long as the law requires.
Delete only some data (without deleting your account)
You can remove individual saved bills in the app — open History, swipe a bill, and tap delete — without deleting your account. To turn off analytics for your account while keeping it, email hello@fygit.app.
